TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH BOARD
AEP50(3) Statewide Travel Demand Forecasting Subcommittee

Chair: Michelle Bina, Cambridge Systematics

Committee Goals

The Statewide Travel Demand Forecasting Subcommittee focuses on statewide travel demand models and other travel demand models that cover geographic areas larger than a metropolitan area, such as megaregions, multi-state, nationwide, and provincial models. This Subcommittee is immersed in the practical integration of urban travel, rural travel, long-distance travel, and freight modeling necessary for models of large geographic scale and the challenges associated with data at this scale.

The Subcommittee – formerly ADA10(2), is part of AEP50 Transportation Demand Forecasting (formerly  ADB40) chaired by David Ory.  The Subcommittee originally had two parent committees: ADB40 and ADA10 – Statewide Multimodal Planning.
